I believe that the secret to success is fun.
Whatever you want to achieve, wherever you want to be in life, however you wish to feel, it all becomes easier if you can
find the fun in it.
I
am Dale Choquette, a personal trainer and teacher of a holistic way of life. I run Avalon Wellness, a company that seeks to
integrate the physical and emotional with the spiritual. Or I should say I seek to reintegrate all these things wholly together
in the harmonious balance we are meant to have.
I
am an avid athlete. I train daily—running or strength training being my most preferred forms of exercise. I am a past
marathon runner, running the 42.2 k seven times. At the age of 51, I began bodybuilding competitively. I believe we can most
be who we want to be if we incorporate a total wellness regime into our lives—to clear our minds, to focus our energies,
to promote healing and fitness, and to control our weight.
I
also believe that if you incorporate fun in training and life-style changes, you have a greater chance of success. And I want
to stress here that my approach is personal. There is no one way to achieve harmony, no blanket approach to holistic health
and well-being. The best chance for lasting, life-affirming change is for each person to create a plan that works best for
them. If you expect to succeed then we must be realistic and accepting of personal limitations and preferences. This is what
I do with you.
I
worked for many years in the corporate world and yet wished for something more, something else, and something physical and
natural. I took courses to specialize as a personal trainer and nutritional wellness specialist. I continue to take courses
to learn about the mind-body connection and the role it plays in our health both physically and mentally.

I
guide you through exploring the emotional ties to eating; I empower you to take control of your eating habits and support
you in making positive life-style changes.
I
educate you on what foods do what, how to read labels, and make choices that you can not only live with but that will also
help you control your weight, heal injuries, or gain energy. Knowing and choosing are the best bets for keeping a food regime
that is balanced and achievable.
Training and fitness
Through training we keep fit, and by keeping fit, we best maintain our natural body energy.
My goal is to work with you to personalize your own
at-home fitness program, set your own personal goals, and help you achieve them.
Mind–Body–Spirit Work
I use many techniques, including energy work, to clear energy pathways allowing
you to free yourself to let go of stress, and to achieve life balance and optimal health. I can also facilitate your personal
transformation to achieve your goals, have better working or personal relationships and rid yourself of the unwanted baggage
that we all carry around.
