Geneviève Lemay, a successful business woman and
event planner, has always turned all of her ideas into
gold.
She opened her first company at the age of 18. She
created, Version Petite, a clothing store for woman 5'
4" and under. Being 5' herself, Geneviève understood
the problems that "petite" women have when
shopping for clothes. She also understood
that "petite" women came in all shapes and sizes.
That is why the store carried sizes from 2 to 20.
The Boucherville boutique became an instant success.
Always looking for new challenges:
After planning the store's business plan, official
opening, fashion shows (even fashion shows to show
her clientele, what would be the fashion, 2 years in
advance), she realized that event planning was her
passion.
After much research and intensive training,
Geneviève opened Genuine Productions, 8 years
ago. She specialized in wedding planning. She
planned an average of 20 weddings per year that
ranged between 8 000$ to 350 000$. She became
the wedding expert for a series of TQS television
shows, the Gazette, CJAD radio, Mariage Québec,
Wedding Bells and Coup de Pouce magazines.
