The National Women's Show
A series of serendipitous events led me to The
Women's Entrepreneurial Networking System to which
I am excited to be a part of and eager to contribute
to and learn from. Though relatively new to the task
as an "entrepreneur" my career tendencies have
always taken me down the path most taken by
entrepreneurs. Combined with my Bachelor of
Commerce degree, my autonomous nature and my
penchant for traveling, I set out several years ago,
in search of new horizons and the ultimate career. In
the process, I stumbled across several different jobs
far and wide that brought me to where I am today.
Today I am happily self -employed as a Sales and
Marketing Consultant. I work on a contractual basis
for companies looking to acquire sales and marketing
expertise. I am responsible for implementing sales and
marketing campaigns for companies looking to launch
market and sell their products and/or services. I have
worked for companies in industries ranging from
television, film and new media to companies
specializing in trade show and consumer show
production and event management.
I am always on the look out for new challenges and
exciting business ventures that capture my interest
and my heart. As an independent consultant I look
forward to tapping into new markets and unfettered
territories.
This next year will keep me very busy and very
inspired as I have recently assumed a contract
position as a Sales Manager for The National
Women's Show. Canada's largest and most
successful consumer show for women is finally
coming to Montreal after the incredible success of
the Toronto and Ottawa shows.
