Things you should know!
Starting in 2005 you must be a WENS member to
attend 75% of all WENS events! Try up to 5 WENS
events before becoming a WENS member.
Our membership packages are changing and our rates
are increasing at the end of
this month! If you have not signed up for a
membership already, now is the time to save! save!

We need you! WENS is more than a networking
group; it is a community. And communities share and
give back to one another. That is the perfect reason
to consider becoming a WENS volunteer.
When you volunteer at WENS, you can increase your
network, learn new skills and make new friends with
similar interests. As a volunteer, you also get to give
back to the WENS community by sharing your
personal expertise.
It's a great way to nurture your career and have
some fun at the same time. Our organization relies on
the wonderful and talented group of people who work
behind the scenes to make WENS the success it is

Set yourself up for success! Plan
your goals and
objectives for 2005. Have you written out your goals
for this year? Sure, we have an idea of what we wish
to accomplish, but did we get it down on paper and
set target dates to hold us accountable?
Create your plan of action by identifying how many
customers you want to gain this year. How many
sales do you want each month and what type of
growth do you hope to achieve? Where do you want
your business to be by December 2005?
Get advice; give advice while we brainstorm
new ideas to determine realistic goals for ourselves,
our business and our future.

Financial Strategies for Today's Woman

from each year she does not work in order to care of
children. 1
More than half of women do not own an RRSP and
62% held nothing outside their RRSP.
Women live an average of four to five years longer
than men; however, most do not save enough to
comfortably live during retirement on their own.
Women depend upon Social Security for a larger
portion of their retirement income than men do. In
fact, 27% of women over age 65 depend on Social
Security for 90% of their retirement income.
Following a divorce, women age 50 and older
experience a 39% decline in income, whereas men's
incomes decline only 14%.
