Let me introduce myself! I am a Financial Planner at the West Island Financial Centre of Desjardins in Pointe-Claire.
My passion is anything that relates to finance: investments, preparing retirement plans, tax planning, estate planning and
following everything that is new on the stock markets. My friends call me the "financial nerd", (without the thick glasses
tough). I have been in this type of career since 1999 and was never bored by it even when the times were though. I always enjoyed dealing with the general public, by helping them defining their financial goals and give them new
ideas and strategies to reach their objectives. I am a very good listener and teacher at the same time. People are comfortable
with my very fast and it allows me to create strong business relationships with them. I like to find ways to make the most
out of the money that people have the discipline to put aside. The clients that I meet are all different in regards to their knowledge, interest and thinking about finances. It
is always be a challenge for me to help them, guide them and make sure that they have the updated information and they know
what is best for them, but also the mistakes to avoid. It is very rewarding for me to be trusted by my clients and being
seen as the reference person. That is why SERVICE is the key, and regular follow-ups are necessary. Besides working, I am a big sports person: swimming, scuba diving, tennis, volley-ball and golf are a few of my hobbies.
These sports help me in keeping a good balance in my life, and relaxing at the same time. I believe that keeping myself physically
in shape will be my best tool to go forward in life and be successful! I am very excited to be part of the WENS networking group in order to meet interesting business people and learn more

Your Dream:
Entrepreneurship
as a Career Option
Montreal - Entrepreneurs across Montreal have
joined together to offer a one-of-a-kind event to
introduce entrepreneurship as a career option.
Twenty local business owners representing a diverse
range of occupations will volunteer their time for this
event. With a wide variety of business backgrounds,
the volunteers will draw on their unique experiences
to offer practical, hands-on on advice to aspiring
entrepreneurs.
Several organizations e.g. Carrefour jeunesse
emploi West Island, CLD West Island, and Jewish
Employment Montreal, will be at hand at the event to
provide additional information about the self-
employment services they offer
Scheduled for 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 17
at the Dollard-des-Ormeaux Cultural Centre, 12001
Salaberry, "Building Your Dream: Entrepreneurship as
a Career Option" is an interactive forum designed to
enable participants of all ages to learn about
entrepreneurship directly from successful local
entrepreneurs. $5.00 entrance fee.
