Copywriting and coaching were two professions that I had long wanted to focus my time and energy on. So, taking a deep
breath, I took the plunge and started my own business.
What a change! Working in communications for over eight years, I'd been fortunate to build my career across a wide
spectrum of industries - telecommunications (Nortel), transportation (Bombardier), internet software, consulting services,
and the arts, among others. I'd worked on a huge variety of exciting communication projects, including development of marcom
plans, copywriting of marketing brochures, search engine optimization of websites, and management of public relations campaigns. I had enjoyed my work. But, increasingly I had found that most of my jobs allowed me to spend only a portion of my
time on what I most loved to do. I needed that to change. It was time to take control of my career and steer it in the direction
that I needed it to go. So - Liz Coleman Communications opened for business! My company offers an array of professional communication services
around copywriting and coaching. I provide: Copywriting services - Writing, editing, SEO web copy My copywriting is suited to clients who need clean, simple messaging to give clarity to their marketing materials.
My copy speaks to readers in a language that they understand, persuading them with straight sentences rather than elaborate
jargon. One of my specialties is writing for the web. There are many underutilized techniques for integrating keywords into
copy and tags; my search engine optimization techniques will make sure that your copy takes advantage of every possible search

It's a known fact that keeping an existing customer
is a lot cheaper than finding new ones. So, ensuring
customer loyalty as a part of your business strategy
is crucial when building your business. Recent studies
of customer service using behavioral science
principals have shown that your customer will base
his/her experience with your company primarily on
the conclusion of the transaction more so than at
any other stage of sale. Even though first
impressions are very important, studies show that
the end of the transaction is what remains in your
customer's memory and that even if you make a poor
first impression, you can make up for it in the end!
